About the Founder
James Simmonds BA (Hons)
James Simmonds is a British English language instructor from Worcester in the West Midlands. He studied at Middlesex University and worked in London before moving to Germany in 2003 to teach English.
After working for Berlitz and adult education centres, he established Simmonds Sprachdienste — an independent language services company with approximately 10 freelance instructors, all native speakers with the necessary qualifications and experience.
Today, Simmonds combines effective teaching methods from over two decades with AI technology as a tool — not a replacement. We use AI to convert company-specific data into customised exercises, tests, and role-plays, making training more relevant and effective.
