Become an Intenga Teacher

We're on the lookout for teachers!

We're constantly looking for teachers who are willing to get to grips with the Intenga and teach a huge variety of students from all over the world in one-to-one, group and lecture formats. We have high expectations of our teachers. You must hold some kind of qualification (i.e. TEFL) or relevant, demonstrable experience of having taught English as a foreign language. We also prefer teachers to be able to speak at least one foreign language as we find that individuals who have learnt a second or third language come best equipped to understand the position students are in.

A high degree of computer literacy is also required, not only in order to operate the system, which in itself is very simple, but also to contribute to the resource library with recorded lessons and high quality learning materials, such as PDFs and interactive quizzes. We are always delighted if our teachers choose to take a more active role in the development of our site.

Take a look at the video displayed. Can you do just as good a job? Can you do a better job? Do you know your way around English grammar? Can you explain it? If the answer to these questions is yes, then we look forward to hearing from you!

Live, Online English Lessons

You're only a few clicks away from entering a live, face-to-face, free online English lesson courtesy of Intenga. In order to make the most of your Englishbox experience and participate fully in the class, you will need the following equipment:

  • Headphones
  • Microphone
  • Webcam
An Intenga live lesson is much like a normal English lesson. You enter, take your place, greet the teacher and then you will be presented with various activities devised by us to teach the necessary grammar and vocabulary. We adopt conversational methods to facilitate learning and make the lessons as interactive as possible. Feel free to ask and answer any questions and voice any doubts. We are, after all, here to help!

Our English lessons last around 45 minutes and are recorded in order that you can return to the topic and revise the material. Check out our calendar or the list of lessons below to find out the time and topic of our next lesson. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Recorded English Lessons

All our live classes are recorded, thus enabling you to review and revise all the material covered in the lesson in case you missed or didn't quite understand something.

Intenga possesses a veritable library of online, multimedia resources. Accompanying each of the recorded lessons you will find Outside the Box theory sheets, Activity Box worksheets and an Intenga interactive test with which you can check that you have learnt all of the material provided.

Wealth of materials

By registering at Intenga you will gain immediate access to a wealth of materials that have been devised by our English language experts. You can, of course, sample our live online English lessons and materials before signing up.

All you have to do is keep an eye out for our next open lesson and enter it at the correct time. You can also take our free English language tests to help us ascertain your English level.
